I led field methods courses in the Amazon region, mentoring students as they apply ethnographic research skills and develop their own short, course-based research projects.

I introduced them to the Amazonian ecosystem and to the ethical dimensions of working with Indigenous communities. As I guide them through participant observation, interviews, and naturally occurring conversations, I emphasize a discourse-centered approach.

Fieldwork courses:

2018, Callería Native Community (Ucayali)

2019, Sepahua Native Community (Ucayali)
